Quistis Trepe
Analysis
Quistis Trepe serves as Squall's instructor at the beginning of the game. She has quite a fan following,
being the youngest instructor in Balamb plus being so beautiful. However, sometimes her actions make her less authoritive and she lacks the sterness of other
instructors. The Garden Faculty fire her and she becomes a SeeD working with Squall and his companions. Contrary to her cool exterior, she occasionally has a difficult time coping with frustration, and as a result can become depressed over trivial matters.
I can't help but feel Quistis was an underdeveloped character. At the beginning of
the game she shows obvious feelings for Squall, and he tells her to "talk to a wall". How does she feel that Squall has fallen in love with Rinoa and not her? Does she still have feelings for Squall at the end of the game?
